Snapshot of Yesteryear - Belvidere Victorians
Belvidere, NJ is the county seat and one
of Warren's best kept secrets. This lovely little riverside
town boasts its share of pristinely maintained Victorian homes
that line its quiet streets.
Each year in September, Belvidere gets back
to its roots with the Victorian
Days celebration featuring period costumes, music, historical
accounts, food and activities, and of course the prettiest
Victorian homes on show.
Belvidere
Means "Beautiful View..."
No matter which town you're house-hunting
in, Warren County promises the lion's share of well-maintained
historic homes dating back to as early as the mid-1700s.
Many of these homes have been modernized
on the inside and restored when necessary, yet the new owners
have seen to it that the original features have been carefully
preserved.
